IMPULS LLC

IMPULS LLC is a venture company originating from Tokyo Gakugei University. It is established based on the following research results at Tokyo Gakugei University.

• "Development of a teacher training system with self-improvement functions for improving international mathematics lessons (MEXT Special Funds; Enhancement of the functions of an international center of excellence in education and research; Project IMPULS ", JFY2011-2016).
• "Research and dissemination of next-generation educational models and establishment of a center for such research: Project for building an international center for teacher training" (JFY2017-FY2019)
• "Lesson Study Lab IMPULS," supported by Tokyo Gakugei University Education Incubation Center's Explayground. (JFY2020-2023)

The company name "IMPULS" is an acronym for "International Math-teacher Professionalization Using Lesson Study". Our mission is to support and promote the professionalization of teachers and instructors involved in mathematics education in Japan and abroad through Lesson Study, a unique Japanese professional development system for teachers.
